If there is something I love doing is crafts, I started this blog exactly two years ago with the sole purpose of helping people create their own crafts with the help of easy tutorials. With the pandemic crisis, I came to have more time at home and decided it would be easier to share crafts by making a YouTube channel. Today I would like to share with all of you that we just hit 200 subscribers and I also want to thank all who have subscribed. / Si hay algo que me encanta hacer son las manualidades, comencé este blog exactamente hace dos años con el propósito de ayudar a las personas a crear sus propias manualidades con la ayuda de tutoriales sencillos. Do you know what scrunchies are? Scrunchies are hair ties that were very fashionable in the 80’s and 90’s, then they lost popularity for a while but they came back around 2010. In 1987, Rommy Revson created the first scrunchie with the idea of creating a gentler version of the hair ties that were used back then. Within the years to come, scrunchies have been created in a variety of colors, patterns, fabrics, sizes and designs that can even include a bow. Scrunchies are super easy to make and very cheap, so you can create several of different colors and patterns to combine with all of your outfits. / Sabes que son las scrunchies? Las scrunchies son coleteros para el pelo que estuvieron muy de moda en los años 80’s y 90’s, pero luego perdieron popularidad, sin embargo reaparecieron alrededor del 2010. En 1987, Rommy Revson creo la primer scrunchie con la idea de crear una versión más suave, a comparación de las ligas que se usaban en ese entonces. Con los años los scrunchies se han creado en variedad de colores, patrones, telas, tamaños e incluso diseños que incluyen un moño. Los scrunchies son súper fáciles de hacer y muy baratos, por lo que podrías crear varios de distintos colores y patrones para combinarlos con todos tus outfits.

How to make a concrete stool / Como hacer un DIY banco de cemento
Lately I’ve found it amazing to work with concrete and create a variety of DIY projects. It is astounding the infinite amount of things you can do with this material and how easy it is once you get the handle of it. I can’t say that all of my projects with this material came out perfectly the first time I tried them, I actually had to redo some of them several times. But it was worth it and I am sure that if you love creating and trying new projects you’ll enjoy it as well. / Últimamente me ha resultado increíble trabajar con cemento para crear una variedad de proyectos de manualidades. Es sorprendente la cantidad infinita de cosas que puedes hacer con este material y lo fácil que es una vez que lo aprendes a utilizar. No puedo decir que todos mis proyectos con este material salieron a la perfección la primera vez que los intente, la realidad es que tuve que rehacer algunos de ellos varias veces. Pero valió la pena y estoy segura de que si te encanta crear y probar nuevos proyectos, también lo disfrutarás.

Over time it was assumed that these were delivered by the three wise men from the East, whom are not mentioned as such in the bible, however today they are known as Melchor, Gaspar and Baltazar. / La biblia católica nos cuenta sobre tres regalos que se le entregaron a Jesus para rendirle tributo a la hora de nacer: oro, incienso y mirra. Con el tiempo se supuso que estos fueron entregados por los tres reyes magos del oriente, los cuales no son mencionados como tal en la biblia, sin embargo hoy en día son conocidos como Melchor, Gaspar y Baltazar.

The idea of placing a message inside a bottle and letting it drift into the ocean until it reaches a destination where your message can be read has been out there for thousands of years. In the past people have used this method when they have found themselves stranded and looking for a way to reach out to civilization, or with the purpose of having their message heard in a near future after they are gone. For example, a ship with soldiers, which was hit in World War I, was sinking and the soldiers sent out message bottles stating their location and situation with the hope of being saved from drowning. / La idea de colocar un mensaje dentro de una botella y dejarla a la deriva en el mar hasta que llegue a un destino donde se pueda leer su mensaje ha estado presente durante miles de años. En el pasado, las personas usaban este método cuando se encontraban varadas y buscando una forma de llegar a la civilización, o con el propósito de que su mensaje se escuchara en un futuro cercano después de que se fueran. Por ejemplo, un barco con soldados, que fue golpeado en la Primera Guerra Mundial, se estaba hundiendo y los soldados enviaron botellas con mensajes indicando su ubicación y situación con la esperanza de ser salvados antes de ahogarse.
