We all like to decorate our home, have comfortable spaces decorated with our personal style and full of life. Plants fill our homes with a natural environment and they make it more alive and full of energy. And of course helping us clean the air. If you still don’t have plants inside your home, because you don’t know how to take care of them or which ones are indoors, these are some types of plants that I recommend. They are easy to care for, sturdy, and look they amazing. / A todos nos gusta decorar nuestro hogar, tener espacios cómodos, decorados con nuestro estilo personal y llenos de vida. Las plantas llenan nuestros hogares con un ambiente natural y que hacen esté más vivo y lleno de energía. Además por supuesto de ayudarnos a limpiar el aire. Si aún no tienes plantas en el interior de tu hogar, porque no sabes como cuidarlas o cuales son de interior estas son algunos tipos de plantas que te recomiendo. Son fáciles de cuidar, resistentes y se ven increíbles.

Lately I’ve found it amazing to work with concrete and create a variety of DIY projects. It is astounding the infinite amount of things you can do with this material and how easy it is once you get the handle of it. I can’t say that all of my projects with this material came out perfectly the first time I tried them, I actually had to redo some of them several times. But it was worth it and I am sure that if you love creating and trying new projects you’ll enjoy it as well. / Últimamente me ha resultado increíble trabajar con cemento para crear una variedad de proyectos de manualidades. Es sorprendente la cantidad infinita de cosas que puedes hacer con este material y lo fácil que es una vez que lo aprendes a utilizar. No puedo decir que todos mis proyectos con este material salieron a la perfección la primera vez que los intente, la realidad es que tuve que rehacer algunos de ellos varias veces. Pero valió la pena y estoy segura de que si te encanta crear y probar nuevos proyectos, también lo disfrutarás.

When it comes to finding some special gift for our fathers it can become very difficult, mostly because after a few years you want to be spontaneous and gift something else than the typical gifts such as clothing, frames, etc. But the problem is what can we give them that is different? / Cuando se trata de buscarle un regalo especial a nuestros padres se puede volver algo complicado, especialmente después de algunos años cuando buscar ser espontáneo y darle algún regalo distinto a los regalos comunes como son la ropa, cuadros, etc. ¿Pero el problema es que le podemos dar que sea distinto?

After searching throughly the internet for ideas and looking at some incredible pot designs I came up with the idea of making a pot with the shape of a car. My father loves cars, he collects car toys and had worked in a big car company for a long time. And since father’s day was coming up I thought it would be a fun gift with a touch of nature. / Después de buscar a profundidad ideas en el internet y ver algunas macetas con increíbles diseños se me ocurrió crear una maceta con la forma de un coche. A mi padre le encantan los coches, de hecho colecciona los juguetes de coches y trabajo durante años en una gigantesca empresa de automóviles. Y ya que se acercaba el día del padre, decidí que sería un regalo divertido con un toque de naturaleza.

Step by step DIY pegboard/ Paso por paso tablero de clavijas DIY

Lately, after accumulating many materials for crafting my room has gotten cluttered. So I wanted to have a new way of organizing my materials without the necessity of having several boxes or bags to keep them in, therefore taking up too much space in my room. This is how I came to developing a pegboard. It is a simple activity anyone can do it, it will just take creativity when it comes to arranging your stuff on the pegboard. For me this was the most tedious part since I couldn’t decide at first the way I wanted it. / Últimamente, después de acumular muchos materiales para elaborar mis manualidades, mi habitación se volvió un desorden con muchas cosas tomando espacio. Así que quise buscar una nueva forma de organizar mis materiales sin la necesidad de tener varias cajas o bolsas para guardarlos, y por lo tanto que ocuparan demasiado espacio en mi habitación. Así es como llegué a desarrollar una tabla de clavijas. Es una actividad simple que cualquiera puede realizar, solo tomará creatividad a la hora de organizar tus cosas en el tablero. Para mí esta fue la parte más tediosa, ya que al principio no podía decidir de la manera en que las quería.

I have always loved garden decorations, having a beautiful place is important since I believe it is a special place in our house where we are able to relax for a while and enjoy a bit of air and sun light. That is why you should invest time and creativity to make sure out garden is looking great. Sometimes little details can really bring out the colors in a place, for example pots. If you feel that your garden is in need of some color this is a great way to do so, and best of all it is an easy craft you can do yourself. / Siempre me han encantado las decoraciones de jardín, tener un lugar hermoso es importante ya que creo que es un lugar especial en nuestra casa donde podemos relajarnos un rato y disfrutar de un poco de aire y sol. Es por eso que debes invertir tiempo y creatividad para asegurarte de que el jardín se vea genial. A veces, los pequeños detalles realmente pueden resaltar los colores en un lugar, por ejemplo las macetas. Si sientes que tú jardín necesita un poco de color, esta es una excelente manera de hacerlo y lo mejor de todo es que es una artesanía fácil que puedes hacer tú mismo.

I recommend designing and painting your own pots, besides being a fun activity you will be getting the results you want at a low cost. When I tried shopping for fun color pot designs, they were mostly ugly. They barely sold pots with any kind of design, and usually offered the plain colored ones and if they had any design the price would go way up. This is why I decided to transform simple ceramic pots into colorful ones with amazing designs. In this tutorial I will give you the base for painting pots, and hopefully you’ll love it as much as I did and decorate your whole garden with pots made by you. / Recomiendo diseñar y pintar sus propias macetas, además de ser una actividad divertida obtendrás los resultados que deseas a un bajo costo. Cuando intenté comprar diseños divertidos de macetas de colores en su mayoría eran feos. Apenas vendían macetas con cualquier tipo de diseño y generalmente ofrecían las de color liso y si tenían algún diseño el precio se elevaba mucho. Es por eso que decidí transformar macetas de cerámica simples en coloridas con diseños increíbles. En este tutorial te daré la base para pintar macetas y con suerte te encantará tanto como a mí y decorarás todo tu jardín con macetas hechas por ti.
