Make a felt panda keychain / Haz un llavero de fieltro de panda

Materials / Materiales:

• Black and white felter / Fieltro blanco y negro
• Thread / Hilo
• Needle / Aguja
• Cotton stuffing / Relleno de algodón
• Thick thread / Hilo grueso
• Metal keyring / Anillo de metal

Steps / Pasos:

1. We are going to draw a circle on our white felter and then cut another one exactly the same using the first one as our guide. / Vamos a trazar un círculo en nuestro fieltro blanco y después cortaremos otro exactamente igual tomando el primero como guía.

2. Now with the black felter we are going to cut 4 ears, 1 nose and 2 eye stains. We are going to cut to small circles with the white felter for the eyes. / Con nuestro fieltro negro vamos a recortar 4 orejas, 1 nariz y 2 manchas para los ojos. Con el fieltro blanco cortaremos dos círculos pequeños para los ojos. 

3. Sew the eye (white small circle) with white thread to one of black stains and do the same to the other / Cosa el ojo (el pequeño círculo blanco) con hilo blanco a una de las manchas negras y haga lo mismo con la otra.

4. Now we are going to sew the black stains to one of our big white circles to the same side. Remeber that these are the eyes of our panda. / Ahora vamos a coser las manchas negras a uno de nuestros grandes círculos blancos del mismo lado. Recuerda que estos son los ojos de nuestro panda.

5. We are going to sew the small black circle that will be the nose underneath the stains of the eyes. And with thread you are going to sew directly under the nose on the white circle to make the shape of the mouth. / Vamos a coser el pequeño círculo negro que será la nariz debajo de las manchas de los ojos. Y con el hilo vas a coser directamente debajo de la nariz en el círculo blanco para hacer la forma de la boca.

6. Sew both pairs of ears together, place them inside both circles and pin them to make sure they don’t move. We are going to sew the outline of our white circles with our ears included. Make sure to leave a small space open, since we are going to fill it with cotton stuffing. / Cosa los dos pares de orejas, colóquelos dentro de ambos círculos y ajústelos para asegurarse de que no se muevan. Vamos a coser el contorno de nuestros círculos blancos con las orejas incluidas. Asegúrate de dejar un espacio pequeño abierto, ya que lo vamos a llenar con algodón.

7. Through the small hole fill your panda with cotton and when you are done you can sew it close. / A través del pequeño agujero, llena tu panda de algodón y cuando hayas terminado, puedes coserlo.

8. Make a small hole depending on the length you want for your thread and make a knot at the end. On the middle of the head of our panda we are going to make a small hole and push this knot inside, then sew it together. / Haz un pequeño hoyo dependiendo del largo que quieras para tu hilo y hazle un nudo al final. En la mitad de la cabeza de nuestro panda vamos a hacer un pequeño hoyo para meter el nudo adentro y luego coserlo.

9. Place the keychain ring on the thread and you are done! / Pon el anillo de metal en el hilo y ¡haz terminado!
